All about the lifeboat - needs more on the village itself Peter Shearan 09:17, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- Call me a jerk, but I'm deleting the entire lifeboat section. First and foremost, there's no sources so it fails WP:V. Second, it's very confusing. There's absolutely no context about these lifeboats. From what I can extrapolate, there seems to have been a volunteer Search and Rescue outfit of some sort working out of Kingsdown in the 1800s? If so, the basics of this outfit would seem more pertinent than who served as the Coxswain of the Charles Hargrave or how much the first boat cost. From what little I can determine, it sounds like an interesting addition to the article -- but sources and context are a necessity. JGardner 10:59, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
