Future of KIM
[edit]I'm not so sure about shifting to past tense (i.e. "was a self-described outreach" etc). Yes, the web site has a notice posted about "ceasing all operations", but it also has a notice regarding someone else "administering" these ministries. Whatever "administered" means we do not know. And the website itself is still up which means that on a certain level, information is still being distributed via that channel. ButlerBlog (talk) 13:51, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- It is still factual to state the the ministry itself has said it is ceasing all operations for the time being. It is not more correct to have present-tense when the ministry itself disagrees for the time being. It did those things in the past, it does not offer those services now.
- Besides that, whether we should change the tense or not, the information that you deleted relating to the ceasing of operations was factual and correct. Why did you remove that update if your trouble is with the tense? Argeadai (talk) 14:20, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

Please go back and read what I originally stated more carefully. The ministry itself has conflicting messages as to whether it has actually ceased, and it needs to remain WP:STATUSQUO until consensus is otherwise. ButlerBlog (talk) 15:42, 3 November 2022 (UTC)- Going back and reviewing the website more carefully, I'd say that my position on this is even more firm than before. Someone is taking over administration, which means that no, it has not "
ceased all operations
". To put their existence in past tense and add text saying that it has ceased operations is misleading and inaccurate based on what's on their site. And again, reiterating what I stated in the beginning:the website itself is still up which means that on a certain level, information is still being distributed via that channel
