The influence on crouching tiger and hidden dragon and house of the flying daggers stems more from a touch of zen than from dragon Inn (the bamboo forest scenes for instance).--Kmhkmh (talk) 13:11, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am really interested in the seeming fact that King Hu was actually born June 3rd 1932, as stated by the King Hu foundation on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/p/C6WhHHer2ap/?hl=en-gb. My understanding however is that Instagram isn't consider a reasonable source. I do wonder in this situation being that it is some sort of quasi-official foundation (according to the Instagram page all posts are by either Cheng Pei-pei or academic George Chun Han Wang).
