Name
[edit]King Biscuit Time? I always thought that the show was called the King Biscuit Flour Hour (and that this is the reason the King Biscuit Flower Hour is so named, as a pun on the original). So which was it? Herostratus 07:20, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well, according to this, it was "flower hour" and not "flour hour" (although I had heard/seen "flour" before too) and was a different show from later on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Biscuit_Flower_Hour
Commentary
[edit]I have an issue with this article in that it's written in the first person, eg. "When I was a young teen, about 1960 or 61..." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.44.33.145 (talk) 01:31, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. That text was added a few weeks ago in this edit. It's not appropriate for an encyclopedia article, so I've now removed it. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:36, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
Garrison Keillor Connection?
[edit]I am reminded of the frequent "sponsor" on Prairie Home Companion, Powdermilk Biscuits. Could this also be in homage to King Biscuit Time? Shocking Blue (talk) 17:58, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
