Page name
[edit]I have moved the article back to The King's Medal of Merit from Royal Medal of Service. The official Royal House web page in English gives this award the English name The King's Medal of Merit. The ODM web page has even gotten the spelling of the Norwegian name wrong and the entry of this particular medal seems to be of low quality. I hope noone objects to trusting the Palace on this one. List of recipients
[edit]A list was started with a single name added to it not too long ago. The same editor has written a stub about this person. I question that such a list should be kept and maintained, since even if it only contains recipients of the medal in gold, it has a potential of over 5000 names and growing. Would it not be more appropriate to just link to the current category for those recipients who have an existing article? 158.37.73.42 (talk) 07:44, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed, a category would be the best in my mind. If all 5000 recipients of the medal in gold are added this are article would be on the wrong side of What Wikipedia is not. Cheers. EricSerge (talk) 12:46, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
