In particular, the book reviews, with 1 maybe 2 exceptions, are from small vegan newsletters and local weekly newspapers, which do not confer notability on a local author. And the Journal for Critical Animal Studies is a non-scholarly, non-notable, movement journal quite open [1] about the fact that the journal, like the institute that sponsors it, was created to promote a political cause.
