Link:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Korea/Assessment#Requesting_an_assessment where is listed as #2 as of the time of writing (02/04/2016)

Her importance is mid at best; certainly not high. Random86 (talk) 23:09, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The criteria for high reads "Subject has a wide range of notability. Includes individuals and topics with a very high international profile, primary administrative divisions, keystone articles for major categories." Let's take a look at that.
  • Wide range of notability: She is a famous musician, actress, and celebrity. checkY
  • Very high international profile: She is world famous. checkY
  • Primary administrative divisions: I can understand this argument ☒N
  • Keystone articles for major categories: I can understand this argument. ☒N

I could maybe understand mid-importance, because you can argue she is "notable within [her] particular field". Celebrities with more (or, at least equal) notability, such as Kim Tae-yeon and Bae Suzy are mid-importance. Seolhyun does not have a "very high international profile" like Ban Ki-moon (the example given). Even Lee Min-ho is currently rated as low-importance. Idols/singers/actors are usually rated low or mid-importance. Random86 (talk) 00:54, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I've reassessed it as mid-importance; she is notable within this particular field and is a higher-profile individual (as contrasted with lower-profile individuals). – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 15:48, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

At the time of writing the image is currently is of Seolhyun at a fansigning event. This is only consistent with the Malaysian Wiki. Should we change the image to make it more consistent with the other language wikis? Or could we include the other images elsewhere to make the article more informative? 78.148.65.71 (talk) 10:59, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
