Death

[edit]

The most authoritative, and by no means necessarily unbiased, account of Shura's death seems to be that of Yi Ki-bong (이기봉). Can someone find the original Korean source? --Bejnar (talk) 21:05, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kim Jong-il killed Kim Man-il

[edit]

Why is this not mentioned in the article? [1] [2] --Diánmondin (talk) 13:20, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

I think the article doesn't pass notability guidelines. An argument for notability is that he would have been the heir apparent to NK, but by the time he died it was not at all obvious what North Korea's future looked like. It's not like he was a full-grown adult who had been groomed for years for a throne that was well-established, and suddenly died. toobigtokale (talk) 05:10, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I disagree with my past self. I think he's notable because of how much speculation and theorization there is about him and his life. He's certainly more notable than a lot of one-off murder cases that have happened that have long articles. toobigtokale (talk) 20:36, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
