[edit]Kim France is an editor of a national magazine, Lucky, and has already been listed an a notable alumna of Oberlin College. I was filling out information about her to coincide with the list.Nbirnbach 13:10, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
France has been called "the shopping guru and media revolutionary" behind Lucky, an award-winning national magazine with a circulation of 800,000. She is the subject of many articles herself, including H- Texas Online (www.htexas.com/feature.cfm?Story=104).Nbirnbach 14:14, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Crain's New York Business named France as a "Rising Star" in 2004, in its "40 Under 40" issue. http://newyorkbusiness-risingstars.com/profile.php?pageNum_profile_detail=12&year=3&pid=13Nbirnbach 01:09, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
When naming France a "Rising Star," Crain's said she became "the hottest new editor at Condé Nast Publications, where she turned Lucky into the publisher’s fastest-growing launch ever." That same year, New York Magazine named France as one of New York's " Most Powerful Women." Recognition by those two magazines should be considered enough justification for why France is notable.Nbirnbach 04:01, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup Required
[edit]This article requires cleanup to bring it in line with other biographical articles. I've done a bit and added the tags but it could do with some more from someone with more knowledge of the subject. Mickthefish 12:32, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: Cleaned up a little bit and referenced back to the article from another zine she wrote for, which is how I found my way here.Simile (talk) 06:58, 18 June 2015 (UTC)SIMS
