Kim Davis (Canadian singer) → Kim Davis (singer) – This is the only singer named Kim Davis sufficiently notable to have an article on WP. Kim Davis (British singer) is a redirect to the article about the British Reggae band, Eruption (band), for which she was briefly lead singer in 1980, and she is barely mentioned in that article about that band's decade-long history. This Kim Davis on the other hand is notable for numerous awards and nominations, and a number of solo albums. The current title is misleading in that it wrongly implies there are other singers named Kim Davis sufficiently notable to have articles on WP. In the very unlikely event that someone is looking for the more obscure Kim Davis singer, a hatnote link to Eruption (band) will certainly suffice to manage that situation handily. - Support and suggest hatnote: "For other [singers|musicians] named Kim Davis, see Kim Davis#Musicians." We have references to at least three singers plus one rapper who some might consider a singer, but only one with an article. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 12:54, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hmm Re "sufficiently notable to have articles on WP" the idea that anything that wasn't forked out as a standalone article doesn't have any existence in the real world is only as real as There's Only One Kim Davis ... until someone goes to You-tube and inputs "Kim Davis" singer. And then the Ariola singles of the Kim Davis whose career was cut short by a brain haemorrhage come up before the Canadian. The current title is not misleading in the real world, only in the no-standalone-article no-exist make-believe world we are creating here. .... In ictu oculi (talk) 20:34, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- WP does not claim to be a reflection of the real world - only a reflection of the "notable" part of it, where "notable" is carefully defined by usage in WP:RS. Videos on Youtube are primary sources, not the secondary sources we rely on to establish what is considered WP:NOTABILITY here. --В²C ☎ 16:17, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Date of birth anyone?
