Trim
[edit]It's in need of quite a trim, in my opinion. Anything that can't be found in third party sources needs to go. The article will be a lot better as a result; easier to read and more encyclopedic. WP:V needs to be observed here. --91.135.14.165 (talk) 22:56, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- I took it upon myself to remove much that violated WP:NOR, WP:PEACOCK, and various other of our policies. Would anyone like to help add some properly referenced stuff in? I feel sure it exists. --John (talk) 23:43, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- http://www.harpercollins.com/authors/1710/Kim_Chernin/index.aspx?authorID=1710 is her bio at publishers
- http://books.google.com/books?id=Ac7HQieM_gwC&pg=PA79&dq=Kim+Chernin&ei=Z52HSuC5LYHClQTsoKyVCg#v=onepage&q=Kim%20Chernin&f=false is a chapter from a book Literature and the writer, by Michael J. Meyer
- http://blogcritics.org/books/article/tyranny-of-slenderness-the-obsession-by/ Not sure how good this is.
- I've added some more referenced and appropriate material. Do we think the refimprove is still merited? I can find a lot of these claims only on Chernin's own website and would be happier with better sourcing. We could really do with an expert in the field. --John (talk) 05:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Books
[edit]Needs to be split into cats.--John (talk) 02:43, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- Done. --John (talk) 05:57, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
