Contested deletion

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... The information seems to come from one source, that of BTP, most of the news reports from the papers reuse this information. I have made edits and expanded the text and I'm looking at newspapers from the time to further expand the article. I have in no way attempted to reuse work that is not my own, however it is difficult when the source material come from a limited number of articles The Emperor of Byzantium (talk) 15:52, 16 Feb 2022 (UTC)

Copyright violation doesn't change whether it comes from one or from many sources. Taking one sentence from here and another from there is just as much a copyvio as taking all sentences from one and the same source. Changing some words, or the order of the words, is not the method to get rid of copyright violations. You should just read the source(s) and then write your own "summary" or "version" without starting by copying anything. This also reduces the chances of ending with awkward half-sentences where the attempt to minimally change the original text produced poor results. Fram (talk) 15:58, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fram (talk), I'm more than aware of Copyright violation, I'm a university teacher, and so Allways try to avoid such pitfalls, however, ALL the written evidence used the same source material, so it's been difficult to create discord and critical analysis within the article... I'm in the middle of marking and this was supposed to be a little rest bite from work... It was not going to be left as is, but I was planning to work on love the next few days... I wish I had not bothered if I'm being brutally honest! If you want to del, go ahead... I can not be bothered with this crap anymore! The Emperor of Byzantium (talk) 16:57, 16 Feb 2022 (UTC)
