General comments

• Good article criteria #6 reads "Illustrated, if possible, by images" while the artowork is good, it would be even better if we could get another related image at the lower-end of the article, perhaps of the song's writers and a caption stating just that.
  • Done. Included the image of Samuel Bayer who directed the music video. I didn't use Rob's image since it is used in "Let Yourself Go".

Infobox and lead

• The artwork needs an alt.
  • Done.
• Either list the writers as 'Green Day', or write out the members again for the 'Producer(s)' parameter.
  • Done.
• Remove "the" before "American punk rock..."
  • Done.

Theme and composition

• Link The Clash and Sandinista!.
  • Done.
• Consequence of Sound should be in italics.
  • Done.

Artwork

• You don't have to repeatedly cite the same reference if it's all backing up one paragraph, therefore reference 4 can be reduced to being cited once not thrice.
  • Done - see below.
• Please remove statements from this section not backed up by reliable sources. While conclusions such as "It depicts a white stereo radio-cassette recorder with two skulls in place of speakers" are acceptable because you're just describing the artwork, claims such as "The cover art follows the style of those of ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!" and "The skulls are black with pink crosses across the their eyes in a similar style to the artwork used on the ecovers of ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!" are your opinion and should therefore be either backed up by reliable sources, or removed.
  • Removed the entire section, as was suggested in other GARs also. Done.

Music video

• Add (2004) after American Idiot.
  • Done.
