I realise that this article suffers from a lack of references. Most of the material comes from my own personal experience, however I'm just as liable to impartiality as the next person. I can state however, for what it's worth, that I have not included anything that I do not know to be a fact. Largest Forest in England, Wales, Scotland, UK

It is not the largest forest in Britain.

Kielder Forest in England is England’s largest forest at 250 square miles. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/website/Recreation.nsf/LUWebDocsByKey/EnglandNorthumberlandKielder but this could be taken over by a site near St Albans in Hertfordshire. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7528041.stm

Galloway Forest| in Scotland is Britains largest forest park at 300 square miles. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/gallowayforestpark

Desc of the photo
