[edit]I realise that this article suffers from a lack of references. Most of the material comes from my own personal experience, however I'm just as liable to impartiality as the next person. I can state however, for what it's worth, that I have not included anything that I do not know to be a fact. I will try to find some more verifyable references. The Boy that time forgot 22:22, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Good page, giving an honest picture of Kielder's development. I'm wondering if we know each other in real life - do you have a short first name which starts with the same letter as your surname? Wikiapodemus (talk) 19:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Kielder Forest's use for motorsport and the reputation of 'killer Kielder' in the UK rallying community may be worth a mention? Kit w-s 13:43, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Agreed, I came looking for information on just this. Can anyone add anything? Philsy (talk) 12:10, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Largest Forest in England, Wales, Scotland, UK
[edit]It is not the largest forest in Britain.
- Kielder Forest in England is England’s largest forest at 250 square miles. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/website/Recreation.nsf/LUWebDocsByKey/EnglandNorthumberlandKielder but this could be taken over by a site near St Albans in Hertfordshire. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7528041.stm
- Article says 800 acres which is a LOT less than 250sq miles!--JBellis (talk) 16:41, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Galloway Forest| in Scotland is Britains largest forest park at 300 square miles. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/gallowayforestpark
- Gwydyr Forest in Wales is Wales' largest forest. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/website/wildwoods.nsf/SearchAgentView/WalesConwyNoForestGwydyr

[edit]Currently says : looking north-east from Yarrow. But the village of Yarrow is east of the reservoir. Could anyone correct the description? --JBellis (talk) 16:41, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
