appropriateness of renaming this article?
[edit]This article was renamed from Emiliano Revilla to The kidnapping of Emiliano Revilla, with the edit summary "BLP1E".
As a wealthy industrialist an a former mayor Revila had other notability factors, and may have measured up to our notability criteria even if he had never been kidnapped. Even if he required being a kidnap victim to push him over the edge of notability, those other notability factors mean that he was not a BLP1E. Geo Swan (talk) 01:05, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- The three criteria for BLP1E appear to be met here. Certainly the sources in the current article cover Revilla only in the context of the kidnapping. Nor can I find any sources that don't mention him in connection with the ETA kidnapping. That man from Nantucket (talk) 02:48, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
