'the stripper' .. ?
[edit]"Starts with 'The Stripper' and uses the same riff as 1973 song; 'Hell Raiser' by 70s band Sweet."
What does that mean? What 'Stripper' does this refer to? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.58.104.12 (talk) 20:19, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Adrenaline "to the heart"
[edit]Adrenaline is not administered to the heart directly; this is very likely an over-dramatisation of the story. The phrasing of the "Meaning" section needs rework and referencing from someone who has the original text. Daveydweeb (chat) 08:37, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Considering that it's an urban legend that this song was directly inspired by Sixx's adrenaline shot, never confirmed by anyone in the band, I'd not worry too much about it. It's telling that an anonymous IP added that myth back in 2010, and a few mainstream lazy writers have picked it up (probably from this very article) and published it - but no mentions of that myth appear BEFORE 2010. Hence, an urban legend that made it onto a Wikipedia page with no source has since been published, giving it further life. I removed it, but it's probably too late.
