Fair use rationale for Image:Hurracan.jpg
[edit]Image:Hurracan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Kiara (entertainer) → Kiara (Venezuelan entertainer) – Title is now incomplete disambiguation, as the Canadian Kiara is also an entertainer. Bearcat (talk) 17:06, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
- Strong oppose she's not an "entertainer" in WP:RS. This is Wikipedia editor nonsense. Per books move to Kiara (singer), same as Kiara (cantante) on es.wp. No one is going to confuse a singer with Kiara (drag queen). In ictu oculi (talk)
- Oppose per WP:CONCISE. If there's the slightest chance that anyone is going to confuse this person with the drag queen, we need only add a {{distinguish}} hatnote. (Neutral on whether to move to Kiara (singer); she does seem to be primarily a singer and that might better disambiguate her from the other article, but she's also done some acting and other things, and Kiara (drag queen) has done some singing.) Station1 (talk) 02:37, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's not a question of whether anybody would confuse the people with each other or not — it's a question of whether anybody would instinctively know which person the word "entertainer" would get them to. Concision isn't more important than completeness of disambiguation: if the two Kiaras are both entertainers, then we can't leave one of them disambiguated as merely "entertainer" on the grounds that the other one happens to be using a more specific label for a more particular type of entertainer. Rather, they both have to have titles that fully distinguish them from each other. By the same token, if we had two notable John Klinckheimers who were both politicians, then neither one of them could be disambiguated as just "politician" — they would both have to be disambiguated more specifically than that, such as by nationality or by particular political role or by specific locality. Bearcat (talk) 20:57, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- Comment There is consensus thus far that the original suggestion is unnecessary, but @Bearcat and Station1: are there thoughts on going back to the Kiara (singer) dab per In ictu oculi? -2pou (talk) 18:57, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- (reply to ping) As mentioned, I'm neutral regarding such a move. Station1 (talk) 20:31, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- I don't have a problem with "singer". The only thing is that since the other Kiara is also an entertainer, this page can't be left at its current title per WP:INCDAB, and I'm not wedded to any one specific alternative to the exclusion of other options. Bearcat (talk) 21:07, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
- So problem caused by the awful (entertainer) tag solved, move (singer) back to (singer) and leave (drag queen) at (drag queen)... easy. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:19, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
