Deletion of nonsense
[edit]I went ahead and deleted most of the nonsense and POV. Monitoring of this page can keep this silliness from returning.--FreeKresge 03:48, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Incorrect Info
[edit]It seems that nobody by the name of Mohammed A R Galadari won a Nobel Prize in 2005.
Of course, Galadari didnt win any Nobel, lol. When the whole newspaper is a joke, when its wikipedia page is a joke, then nothing wrong in awarding Galadari Nobel Awards!!!
The News paper is crap. It edits out all the stories and put ban on their journalists writing against the govt or the UAE Nationals. Its a biased news paper and worst of its kind. I dont know who wrote this article but its completely bullocks!! For pples reaction from uae to this article chk this: http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=11534962&postID=115560026133003653

The Khaleej Times is a self-censored newspaper. News articles that are considered disrespectful to Arab leaders (including Saddam Hussein) are prohibited. Information that negatively reflect the U.A.E economy is also prohibited by national law and as such will never be printed in the Khaleej Times.
Bias
[edit]This page reads like propaganda for Khaleej Times. It is completely against Wikipedia NPOV policy. Pls do not remove this tag unless all information is objective and referenced. Sbohra 06:34, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Not just bias; completely false
[edit]This page belongs on Uncyclopedia - it is a joke, not the truth.
Adding: It seems clear that KT itself has written this nonsense - world leaders turning to Khaleej times for advice, come on! It was an excellent paper (by Gulf standards) under the editorship of Nihal Singh for many years. Since the previous owner died and his son took over, the quality of the paper has plummeted. The "Dear Reader" editorials, written by the "Dear Leader" stand out only because the writer would be sacked if he wasn't also the owner. Only, now the Dubai government has sacked him and taken control of the paper, according to a report published in neighbouring Qatar today.
- I've rewritten the entire article to bring it into NPOV and to make it more easily read. I think I've fixed all of the issues it had. Only wish there were more sources aside from the paper itself.Coinmanj (talk) 09:02, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
