Lack of Sources
[edit]There isn't any part of this history, apart from the major characters, that i've heard on the show. This article should be tagged for lack of verifiabiliyt 74.73.27.206 (talk) 08:30, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- It is a fictional TV show. The source is the screenplay! --Ashley Rovira (talk) 11:53, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Didn't know where to put this in case of change however!! As for Kevin's Birthday, please go to SERIES 5. EPSIODE 9, 20 minutes in!! Sarah asks his birthday he was born in 1971 not 1972! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.2.40.186 (talk) 17:43, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Significance as a character
[edit]Where is Six Feet Under in all of this? This section makes this show sound like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Don't get me wrong i think the show casts some very positive light on gay people and gay relationships. Looks like this section went through excessive lengths to explain why this show is such a great breakthrough. Six Feet Under featured a gay brother as well and way more graphic gay scenes. --Kvasir 11:02, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Kevin's significance as a character comes from the fact that he's a gay character on a show on ABC. Most people get ABC included as a basic part of their cable package. Six Feet Under was on Showtime, a premium channel, meaning not as many people saw it. He's far more visible than the characters of Six Feet Under.DGCatAniSiri 06:09, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Someone might wish to add the ABC daytime drama All My Children to the list of shows that aired a same sex marriage ceremony between the recurring character Bianca Montgomery and the new regular character Reese. The show takes place in fictional Pine Valley, PA but the story line had the characters went to Connecticut for the marriage as it's not legal in PA. There were also many very passionate kisses between the characters. --Ashley Rovira (talk) 11:47, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
And where is As The World Turns and Luke/Noah or Luke/Reid? From 2007-2010, the gay storyline on ATWT may not have been featured as much as viewers wanted, but it was never abandoned. The characters eventually kissed in every episode they appeared in, had sex, had lives outside of the couple & being gay, had families and problems that they dealt with together and apart. In the series finale, the main gay character, Luke Snyder was heavily featured in the main storyline. When I think of gay male couples that the general public knows about, I think of Kevin & Scotty, Cameron & Mitchell, and Luke & Noah. 159.218.200.150 (talk) 19:52, 1 November 2010 (UTC)CucFan
what a waste of server space
[edit]Must fictional TV characters be allowed in this space? I'd rather that everyone's best friend was included. Terrytalty 01:47, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
YOU are a waste of space. Wikipedia has become such an informative site because of pages like this. TV and its characters are a part of culture and if fans can't get an interesting insight in ways like this, then how can anything grow? Why should you be so concerned about server space anyway, the people who run Wiki can more than afford it :P -numbaonestunna
Fair use rationale for Image:Matthew rrys.jpg
[edit]Image:Matthew rrys.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
