[edit]"During the 1999–2000 season, Stevens would hit rock bottom in his NHL career. Not only did he rarely see the ice during this season, but after a game against the St. Louis Blues, he was caught in a St. Louis motel with a prostitute and crack cocaine, supposedly bought with stolen meal money from the Rangers"
No he was not arrested in a St Louis motel. He wasn't even arrested in Missourri. It was Collinsville, IL. And stolen meal money? He was making over 3mil that year. Lets try facts —Precedingunsigned comment added by 12.29.147.34 (talk) 15:56, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Why is the YouTube video with him and Trottier trashing Bellows even mentioned in here? It's not relevant to anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.160.113.37 (talk) 00:04, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
American-born record stat
[edit]Noting that Brett Hull competed as an American but was born in Canada, I was looking to see how many goals Auston Matthews needs to beat the NHL single season record for most goals by an American-born player and found that it was Kevin Stevens who holds that record at 55. Checking his bio here, I didn't see that information, so I added it. I added a reference, but it still needs to be looked up on the hockey statistics site that I noted. I hope that is acceptable. At the time of this writing he is 65th all time. I can count the edits I've made without running out of fingers, so please advise if there is something else I should be doing to adhere to editing standards and etiquette. Benevolence one
Note: I had to correct an error. I correctly noted that no American-born player had scored more goals in a season, but I failed to notice that there was one other American-born player that scored as many goals in one season. I noted that other player and added the record to the other player's Wiki. Benevolence one — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benevolence one (talk • contribs) 05:40, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
