(For Kevin Harlan) What I think should be changed....
Super Bowl 55 will be his 12th consecutive Super Bowl radio network broadcast, and his 13th overall. His 2001 Super Bowl 35 broadcast was the first HD telecast of a Super Bowl for CBS Sports.

Is there a particular reason why it is important to note that Super Bowl 55 will be his 12th consecutive radio network broadcast? Nearlyevil665 (talk) 18:16, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

- I'm not convinced that identifying the consecutive nature of the broadcasts is particularly notable. I'm not opposed to identifying how many times he has done the broadcast but this needs a reliable source. As an aside, I'm puzzled that the article mentions that he broadcasted the "CBS HD feed of Super Bowl XXXV in 2001." I'm guessing that was the first HD feed which might be worth mentioning but, unless I'm missing something he's doing audio on the radio. Doesn't sound very relevant that the video was in HD. I don't plan on changing that at this time — if you can provide a reliable source identifying how many super Bowls and final fours he has broadcast, I will make the change.--S Philbrick(Talk) 17:50, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
“Is this the dagger?” call should be added.

Kevin Calls the Studio
[edit]I don't have the wherewithal to get all of the source links and such, but today, September 15, 2024, Harlan was calling the 49er/Vikings game when they switched over to a highlight from another game and the audio feed failed. Harlan picked up the ball flawlessly, announced the highlight as if he'd practiced it and went back to the game he was at, leaving analyst Trent Green in stunned admiration.
