POV

[edit]

The following excerpt is not neutral, expressing a unfavourable opinion of Kevin Brauch's appearance on the Tonight Show, March 17, 2006:

"However, Brauch's insufferably boisterous sense of humor made for an awkward segment. After dancing a "jig" and making odd out-of-place references, Leno's band-leader was even seen to be rolling his eyes at Brauch's odius behaviour. Brauch's attempts at humor during the interview were greeted coldly by a mostly silent audience. Brauch's eyes appeared bloodshot during the interview..."

At the very least, this entry should be reduced to its factual information detailing who appeared, when, and where.

I was wondering if anyone knows what Kevin Brauch says at the beginning of Iron Chef America? I think its in Japanese and it sounds something like Kon Bin Wa, but he says it when he is first introduced. He says "Thanks Alton, Kon Bin Wa, good evening ladies and gentlemen"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bnelson13 (talkcontribs) 05:29, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe he's saying "Konbanwa" which in Japanese means "Good evening". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.146.15.93 (talk) 04:46, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, he's not on the latest incarnation of the show, although the article says he is. I'd correct it, but I don't know what's going on, and in fact I came here to find out. I put this here as it didn't seem right to start a new section for this. JDZeff (talk) 18:41, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Behaviour on TVO Kids

[edit]

Back in the day I was a huge fan of TVO Kids and one summer I went away on vacation with my parents so I missed a couple days of the show. When I returned Kevin issued an apology on the show saying he was sorry for his actions the day before. I never did find out what happened the day before. Anyone know more about this? --The Lone Bard 14:33, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I'm glad you brought this up - I thought maybe I was going crazy. I may be having false memories, but I believe he told an intern he was going to "kick his ass" or something like that during an episode of Professor Iris. He (Kevin) didn't realize his mic was still on. Wardrich (talk) 21:53, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

'Celebrity Bartender'

[edit]

Can I ask if anyone has any info on this labeling? He's never been known for his bartending skills; he's a food television host who was once a bartender, from what I can see. This informs him, slightly, on The Thirsty Traveler, but he's never been what most people would desc as a 'celebrity bartender' (that more appropriately applies to Dale DeGroff or Ted Haigh, whose work is actually in bartending) --Thespian (talk) 11:06, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Was a television show, not a company. Weird link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.31.113.116 (talk) 03:54, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
