I am hoping to remove the following disclaimers:
+This article appears to be written like an advertisement. (October 2012)
+This article may contain wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information. (October 2012)
What is the best course of action here? Are there any instances I can eliminate to make it more neutral? That seems to be the overarching objection.
Hi there! I think that the main thing is that reading it sounds like and gives the impression that it came from an "about us" page or biography page from his personal website. Remember, Wikipedia is to be written from a neutral point of view, so we need things that will be written neutrally. The general tone of the article is my biggest concern. Usually there's no need to submit such edits for review. Technically we have a peer review process that focuses on entire articles (what Patchy1 linked to), but that's meant for well-developed articles as a preparation for, say, a nomination to Good article status, something this one isn't yet ready for. The general rule is: If no other editor reverts your edits or objects on the talk page, they were probably okay. Huon (talk) 22:29, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I am trying to resolve the issues listed in the banner at the top of the article. Can someone help me by pointing out the areas written in subjective language? Thanks! Baconburger33 (talk) 21:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Those tags were put there in October 2012. Since then, a lot has changed on this page. I don't see any issues now. Feel free to delete those tags yourself if you don't see any issues. If someone else disagrees, they can just add the tags again. Howicus (talk) 22:14, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
