Engines
[edit]This article has redlinks to Lycoming IO-520 and Lycoming TSIO-550-B. As far as I can find out these engines don't exist, could these be the Continental IO-520 and Continental IO-550 instead? - Ahunt (talk) 01:19, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

- Janes says Textron Lycoming IO-520 engine derated to 172kW (230hp).. and Textron Lycoming TSIO-550-B enigne derated to 242 kW (325hp).. but as the aircaft were not built perhaps the engines were just proposals. In the engine section of Janes it only mentions a Teledyne Continental IO-520 series and a Teledeyne Continental IO-550 and nothing similar under Textron Lycoming, I suspect a typo in the source? the company library has some other editions of Janes I will have a look next week. - That is odd! As far as I can find out there are no engines with those designations, proposed or otherwise, so I agree that it might be a typo on the part of Janes (shudder). I am keen to hear what other editions say! - Ahunt (talk) 18:36, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
