Move to Kerser
I see that this page was moved from Kerser by Earflaps on 25 October 2013, apparently without any prior discussion, with the following explanation: "how the artist officially refers to themselves, and what he's called in media"
.
Per Wikipedia policy at Wikipedia:Article titles#Use commonly recognizable names (WP:COMMONNAME):
Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources. This includes usage in the sources used as references for the article.
Kerser is clearly more predominantly used than Emcee Kerser, both by the artist and by others:
- The top twenty results for a Google search for kerser reveal 18 hits with "Kerser" in the title (including his YouTube videos, Big Cartel store, iTunes listing, ticketing websites, a news article and blogs) and 2 hits with "Emcee Kerser" (the first being this Wikipedia article, the other his Twitter account which).
- His Instagram and YouTube accounts use the names "Kerser", "TheKERSER" or "Kerserofficial", but not "Emcee Kerser".
- His website address is emceekerser.com but the site is prominently emblazoned "KERSER".
- His logo is the word "KERSER".
The article should be moved to Kerser, with Emcee Kerser serving as a redirect. —sroc 💬 14:19, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
- Your reasons make sense to me. Lol, I'm a moron. Earflaps (talk) 14:35, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
In that case, since you don't object, I'll move it back without delay. Thanks! —sroc 💬 14:56, 1 May 2014 (UTC)- D'oh! I can't move it back since the redirect already exists at Kerser. I have requested the page be moved by an administrator at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. —sroc 💬 15:02, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

It clearly states that Kerser has released 5 albums in the second sentence although he has released 6! KingKersOne (talk) 05:39, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. EvergreenFir (talk) 02:27, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
