Notability
[edit]i am not sure why an author of countless books and articles is not 'notable' enough for the person who tagged this article for deletion minutes upon its creation. Chensiyuan 05:17, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps a list of published books/articles. There are thousands of non-notable professors posted on WP whose articles have been deleted, so there needs to be a clear idea of why they are important. No need to write whatever that is on my talk page. I have no idea what you meant by that. Wickethewok 05:23, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm not certain if this is still an issue but I can assure you that Kent Roach is definitely notable figure. He's one of the biggest academics in criminal and constitutitonal law in Canada, and most of his books are among the most authoritative in the field. --PullUpYourSocks 19:46, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Four year's later (almost to the day!) and I've removed the notability tag. Roach clearly meets the notability bar for academics and has received siginificant coverage in independent media outlets. --Jezebel'sPonyoshhh 16:05, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
