Deleted Leads NCAA D-1 in Blocks
[edit]Deleted that part about Kenny George leading D-1 NCAA in blocks because he doen't, Jarvis Varnado does. Proof 130.108.186.229 (talk) 19:47, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Czech Republic?
[edit]Is the guy that played in Czech Republic the same as the Kenny George the article is talking about? Might be just a person of the same name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leoisiah (talk • contribs) 04:44, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Very much looks like it was him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.225.12.106 (talk) 06:58, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
But sometimes, that website is not realiable. We might need to see other news clippings about his appearance in Czech Republic. That should have been big news if he was actually there, playing after the amputation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leoisiah (talk • contribs) 17:07, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
I asked the same question in Quora, and it seems that it is not Kenny George in the Czech team but some guy named Kent Ravone George: https://www.quora.com/Did-Kenny-George-really-play-basketball-in-the-Czech-Republic-after-having-his-foot-amputated-His-Wikipedia-entry-says-so-but-the-reference-doesnt-seem-accurate Leoisiah (talk) 08:16, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
I will now remove the Professional career section. The original reference no longer shows that he played for the Czech team. Also, the 2011 roster indeed lists Ravone George instead of Kenny George: https://basketball.eurobasket.com/team/Czech-Republic/Dekstone-Turi-Svitavy/15296?Page=1&Year=2011-2012 Leoisiah (talk) 23:30, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
