The BAND "Kenny" is not the same as the IRISH SINGER "Kenny"
[edit]I have deleted two songs wrongly credited to this band, as the Guinness British Hit Singles books clearly distinguishes their works of that of Kenny, an Irish singer. These entries I am talking about:
- 1973 "Heart Of Stone", B-Side: "Buttons" (did not chart)
- 1973 "Give It To Me Now", B-Side: "Rollin'" (did not chart)
In fact they did chart. "Heart Of Stone" on RAK 144 made #11 and spent 13 weeks in the UK Top 40 in the spring of 1973. "Give It To Me Now" climbed to #38 in its 3 weeks run in the summer of 1973, catalogue number was RAK 153.
The Irish "Kenny" is Tony Kenny, as this page explains: http://www.irish-showbands.com/Bands/tonykenny.htm 83.87.140.201 (talk) 20:53, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
