The person in the movie was a famous Black athlete born in Pasadena in the 20's or 30's known as "Kenny Washington. He was a slave on the Harrow Plantation and my cousin, the beautiful actress Suzette Harbin, played opposite him as his captured love interest. She played an African Princess that had been captured and bought by Rex Harrison, the owner of the Harrow Plantation. She threw herself and attempted to take her infant son with her off a cliff rather than to have him live as a slave when he was born to be a Prince. She nor Kenny Washington received ANY credit as cast members in your list of the movie's cast.
