Messed Up!

[edit]

This page has references to two different places named Kennedy Meadows, CA, one in Tulare County and the other in Tuolumne County. The counties are not the same. The Kennedy meadows General Store and the southern Sierra portion of the PCT are in Tulare County. The Kennedy Meadows Pack Station and that bit about "residents have developed a store, a cyber cafe, and an operation that holds large quantities of resupply boxes forwarded by northbound hikers" refers to KM near Sonora Pass in the eastern portion of Tuolumne County. -- Cdw ♥'s(talk) 22:03, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also the "other" Kennedy Meadows resort just off of Highway 108 burned down in October, 2007. It has since been rebuilt. "This" Kennedy Meadows resort was not effected. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2007-oct-02-me-kennedy2-story.html Seki1949 (talk) 20:16, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
