Separate station?
[edit]Are the GO platforms really distinct enough from the TTC platforms that they should be put in a separate article? David Arthur 22:08, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think so. In cases where stations are shared between two or more transit authorities, the articles should be merged and the relevant details, templates, categories should be cleaned up accordingly. That's just my opinion, though. Mindmatrix 14:20, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- The GO station consists of one open platform on the former freight line, that does not enter the TTC facility. The GO platform is at 43°43′55″N 79°15′44″W / 43.73194°N 79.26222°W and the large subway/rt facility is located to the west. Secondarywaltz 22:38, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at the TTC station article, it notes "It now connects with the adjacent Kennedy station on GO Transit's Stouffville railway line", which indicates the facilities are separate. In this case, it seems that separate articles are appropriate, since the station isn't shared, but rather they are two stations linked together. Mindmatrix 20:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Removed the merge tag. -Secondarywaltz (talk) 02:50, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- Given the new enhancements and unified branding I believe that it should be merged with the TTC station article Millsy0303 (talk) 02:00, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
