Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... I was clearly editing it. I used a known biography template to start the page and without even allowing me to replace the default text, you marked the page for deletion causing me to lose all of my changes. The same way you could leave a message on my page telling me that you were marking it for deletion, you could have asked if it was a test page. ash (talk) 15:16, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Reference to the North Caribbean Force
[edit]According to this book review of three books on West Indian forces during WWII, the North Caribbean Force was a forerunner of the Caribbean Regiment:
"Many infantry soldiers, mobilised first in the North Caribbean Force headquartered in Jamaica and the South Caribbean Force headquartered in Trinidad, were organised into the 1st battalion of the Caribbean Regiment."
