Two Jack (Jackie) Kelsos?
[edit]Does anybody know anything about these two ?? guys?
- Jack Kelso (1917-1993), West Coast Jazz reed player known for giving Chico Hamilton and Dexter Gordon their starts in professional music.
- Jackie Kelso (1922-2012), American jazz saxophonist, flautist, and clarinetist, born John Joseph Kelson Jr.
I was well aware of Jackie, having heard him play in a number of contexts, but the description of Jack sounds almost like the same person. Can anybody provide more detail? If Jack Kelso really existed, maybe he should have his own page. If not, he should be deleted and some of the description merged into Jackie's entry. DutchmanInDisguise (talk) 15:01, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
