Review (GA criteria in bold, my judgment of the article in plain text.)
Accurate and reliably sourced. All statements appear to be sourced, and the sources are either news or sports-specific. It would be better if those 3 or 4 refs that are merely a news article header in a link were filled out with publisher.
Broad in coverage. Yes, covers his whole career.
Neutral in tone. Not quiiite there yet, see comment section below.
Stable, no edit wars. No contentious editing on the most recent page of the history, where it matters. (The vandalism and revert are not warring.)
Illustrated with suitable images. Doing this one first because I saw the comment on the talk page. The only picture used here is free. It'd be nice if it was clearer and not so gritty, but since he's still alive we have to use free pictures. (If he was dead, we could argue fair use and upload a better one.) The image can be replaced in the future if somebody takes one that's better and uploads it here, but this one will do in the meantime.
Copyright violation free. Earwig didn't detect any copyvio.
The section on his amateur career is really too promotional for Wikipedia. Words like, "stellar" and "amazing" shouldn't be used in a good article. I'd recommend replacing them with more neutral wording. If the source says the coach liked something specific about Williams' style of play or something like that, it could be included here.
