Lead
[edit]- Think the lead could do with a expansion to summarise his whole career.
Early life
[edit]- Wikilink points, rebounds and three-point range since they are basketball jargon that need understanding by non-basketball readers of the article.
- "Kenneth was on the state championship team at Louisville’s Ballard High School in Louisville and won a NCAA Division II championship at Kentucky Wesleyan." - remove the second mention of Louisville since you have already established the city is where the school is based. Also add the appropriate wikilink for NCAA Division II basketall
- "He quit football as a sophomore" - He stopped playing football as a sophomore
- "The Bruins were ranked number 1" - Number 1 should be spelt out per MOS:NUMERAL
- "including the deciding 3-pointer" - same issue as the point above
Freshman
[edit]- "in a 74-66 upset of fifth-ranked North Carolina" - over
Sophomore
[edit]- Explain what double-doubles mean
- "he lost some weight and attended an Adidas-sponsored camp" - I don't believe the sponsor of the camp is relevant. Thus, it should be written as an training camp
- "On the season," - change to Over the course of the season,
- "He was marred by a slump at the end of the season." - Was it a slump of form? If so, please change this for non-basketball readers.
Junior
[edit]- Change the two mentions of Big East player of the week to as Big East Player of the Week
- "and dished out four assists" - "dished out" is not encyclopedic language
- "All‐District 5 Second Team. on" - remove the period between "Team" and "on"
- "Martin did an internship with a TV station" - better, Martin undertook an internship with the TV station
- Wikilink Julius Erving Award, WTHR and the NBA Draft; the third of which should be specifically linked to 2017 NBA Draft
Overall you've made a good effort but I'm putting this on hold until the changes have been implemented. MWright96 (talk) 21:29, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Looks like the nominator hasn't edited since July. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 02:46, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hello, I decided to take over editing the page since the nominator hasn't edited in the past four months. I have taken care of the issues pointed out here in order for it to be considered for GA status, but if its too late because of the 7 day hold period already being passed, I understand.
