COI tag?
[edit]Any clues which editor is supposed to be alluded to? TEDickey (talk) 02:08, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
- I mean, several of the contributors (myself included) know Keith from MIT. However, it isn't clear to me that these editors have been editing in a way incompatible with the COI policy. Nor does this article read like an advert. LFaraone 22:25, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
- Hrmm. I see a recent ES cites me: "(cur | prev) 05:07, 23 March 2014 24.6.238.54 (talk) . . (9,007 bytes) (+27) . . (Undid revision 600513372 by LFaraone (talk) COI is clear, see Jhawkinson and edits from 18.*) updated since my last visit (undo)". I'm not quite sure what it is intended to convey, perhaps 24.6.238.54 could clarify with more specificity? I do agree that edits from 18.* (MIT) are poor form, though one imagines there is more interest in Winstein from people who encounter him, so that may have something to do with it. I don't see any problems with the 3 edits of mine from 28 April 2013 (and furthermore they were to the article when it was in userspace, not in mainspace). I want to make a joke about Tom and the Great ISO 2022 Locking Shift Terminal Emulator Wars of the 2010s… jhawkinson (talk) 08:35, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
