This article is about a politician, not about whether gun control is morally justifiable nor how you [the editor] personally feel about Keith Self, regardless of how strong you feel that your arguments are. The identity and personal beliefs of the perpetrator, the identity and ages of the victims, and the number of mass shootings in the last X days are irrelevant here unless a published source meeting WP:RS discusses what Self—who is the topic of this article—said or did in direct relation to these topics.
