Lol, I like how the article says he was a standout at Sweet Home. He was actually pretty average, I think he even sat the bench a descent amount. Though I don't remember fully. I know he didn't stand out though.

Wasn't a standout? That's right, the path to the NFL usually consists of being a high school bench warmer. O'Neil was a starting linebacker as a sophomore and split time at tight end while returning punts and kickoffs. As a junior he didn't leave the field, starting at inside linebacker and tight end. As a senior, he was first team all New York State, playing tailback, fullback, tight end, defensive end and linebacker. In his three years on the varsity at Sweet Home his teams were 23-4 and 8-0 in his freshman year on the junior varsity.
