Trivia.

[edit]

Fake. Plus if it was real, it should read "Had a TC2 character named after him". I doubt anyone is daft enough to name their son after a videogame character.

Lots's of cleaning

[edit]
I've removed several external links, two of them dead and a third that went to a tv broadcaster's home page. Sites which say "This domain is for sale" are not really valid references are they? I also a dead external link, (this one in the external links section) to his site, which no longer exists.

Did he write this himself?Kurtdriver (talk) 15:02, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup was long overdue, the rest of the external links should not be included either. Links in text should be to Wikipedia articles, we don't include external links to official websites as a replacement when there is no Wikipedia article. As for who added the content, there's no way to know if it's actually the subject, someone connected to subject, or someone who just used a similar username, but whoever it is, it looks like they tried to get rid of most of the political content focusing on his post political career, including taking all political content out of infobox at one point. The reason he's notable enough to have an article is because he was a politician, so I don't know how the edits went unnoticed. Cmr08 (talk) 20:11, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tricky which

[edit]

The reason for his actions was as a result of an amendment that would have removed the entire contents of Martin's Private Members' Bill C-344 which violated the spirit and meaning of Private Members Business.

The tricky 'which' binds where:

  • the reason (which violated)
  • the reason for his actions (which violated)
  • a result of an amendment (which violated)
  • an amendment (which violated)
  • an amendment that would have removed (which therefore violated)
  • the entire contents (which violated)
  • the entire contents of Martin's Private Members' Bill C-344 (which violated)
  • Martin's Private Members' Bill C-344 (which violated)

Wheels within wheels, it's simply not a good sentence. — MaxEnt 22:21, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
