Untitled
[edit]Having just attended a screening of The Untold Story of Emmett Till, at which the director lauded himself endlessly (and in the process silenced two of the subjects of his own film, Simeon Wright and Roosevelt Crawford, who were also present) I would be surprised if this self aggrandizing entry were not authored by Mr. Beauchamp himself. I think it should be reviewed for NPV.
Along the same lines, Beauchamp's claim that a police officer beat him up in 1989 has, as far as I know, never been independently verified. Was it reported in the press at the time? What city and club was it in? What were the names of the people who beat him? Did he file legal action? If so, where is the paperwork? Inquiring minds want to know.
