BNP numbers

[edit]

I don't know about the rest of you but the BNP "leader" of Keele lives in the same block as me at Keele, and as i understand it, its just a few of them as they all seam to meet up my block kitchen (ie 4 or 5). The current form of prose makes it sound like there is a legion of them or something. The source cited is a) old (2003 - most student of the 2003 have graduated) and b)not exactly an independent, NPOV media source. I'm seriously tempted to delete the lot unless some properly cited stuff appears. Also is this text about the students union (i don't think the current BNP lot have anything to do with KUSU) or the students of the university - ie why don't we bump this stuff, if notable, off to the Keele uni article (or another). Nonsense...

[edit]

I don't know who's been editing it but the Student Activism and History section no longer makes a lot of sense...

It says that the campus went from being mainly left-wing activist to recently being apolitical before going on to say there's a resurgence in progress which doesn't make any sense and just contradicts itself.

And the concluding paragraph just looks like it's been hacked to bits by different people trying to claim political dominance on campus.

Anyone fancy keeping the History bit and ditching the Activism bit? If it's that important or memorable it'll still be remembered in a few years time when it can be added to the student history section. Atraxus (talk) 19:14, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Past Sabbatical Officers

[edit]

I don't see why sabbatical officers from 2006 are included here. If previous sabbs are to be included in the article, why stop at 2006? KUSU has been around very much longer than that! Headhitter (talk) 21:41, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the list now goes back to 2003 but that still leaves a backlog of about 50 years...Headhitter (talk) 18:45, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've now deleted the list of previous officers as it was incomplete and the individuals named are not necessarily, in Wikipedia terms, notable. Headhitter (talk) 09:42, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sovereign Body

[edit]

The article asserts that Union General Meetings are the sovereign body of the students' union. This is simply untrue. The sovereign body is the Trustee Board which; a) isn't mentioned in the article except in the infobox, and b) maintenance tags were removed from this section about the required update. The article desperately needs updating. Andymmutalk 10:33, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
