Ethnicity
[edit]WHO THE HELLLLLLL SAID HE WAS A PAKISTANI. The guy is iranian, and has an iranian name. what a joke!!!!!!
No edit warring over his ethnicity. Find a reliable source. Corvus cornix 21:25, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- A source was added, however the source is either a word-for-word copy of this Wikipedia page, and therefore not reliable, or this page is a word-for-word copy of the source, which is a copyright violation. Which is it? — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 17:46, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- The fonejack.tv page has a copyright of 2007. That text has been in the Wikipedia article since 2006. Looks like they stole the Wikipedia text then slapped their own copyright tag on it. Corvus cornix 21:00, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have reported this issue to Wikipedia and someone has contacted the Webmaster at fonejacker.tv! They've also copied text from IMDB and claimed it as their own. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 00:09, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Normally, the procedure is to list it at Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks, and to contact the website to ask them to remove the content. I'd do it but it's probably best if one of the editors involved in the article takes care of it. Thanks! -- lucasbfr talk 09:27, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well I don't know enough about it to contact the website, but someone left a message on my talk page saying they had contacted them. Thanks for letting me know the proper procedure, I'd never have found that myself. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 10:26, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

is he muslim?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.85.243 (talk) 12:43, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Does it matter? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.211.74.62 (talk) 09:51, November 4, 2008 (UTC)
- Naaah, not really. And anyone who demands that it does is either being a bit sad or a bit sinister. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.181.192.98 (talk) 17:14, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't matter, but to assume anyone from an Iranian background is Muslim is just being a bit dense. They might be an ethnically Armenian Catholic, for instance; or a Baháʼí, like Omid Djalili.

Delay in showing Fonejacker
[edit]disabled link says that the series started after a four month delay. However, initial adverts indicated that it was due to begin in April, and so the delay appears to have been three months at most. Fatnickc 18:36, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- The biography is a direct copy of this Wikipedia page, so cannot be used as a source anyway. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 19:06, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
- I removed this link as Google is listing it as a malware infected site. Widefox (talk) 13:15, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

British Asian
[edit]I noticed there was a category that said he was British Asian. Would he be considered British Asian since he is of Iranian descent? 2600:100C:A210:A4B:1526:A5AA:2FC3:FC7 (talk) 02:26, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Per the first line of Wikipedia's page on Iran:
- "Iran, also known as Persia and officially as the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in West Asia."
