Overall: Article meets eligibility criteria - recently expanded 5x. Meets length expectations for DYK. No issues with tone. Article has no issues with Copyvio per Earwig. My suspicion is that the newspaper clippings are not searchable via Earwig. Prelim manual comparison does not seem to show any issues. QPQ done. Picture seems to be rightly released. Seems alright at the resolution. Perhaps a closer view might be good, but, this is alright. Overall - nice small article and good to go. Makes me want to go back on a holiday to Kauai. Hi @Ktin:, and thanks for the quick review. If there's a photo you feel would be better within the Commons cat for the railway [2], let me know and we can change the image. I've never been to Hawaii, but writing this article certainly made me want to visit. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 13:30, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
A heritage railway or heritage railroad (US usage) is a railway operated as living history to re-create or preserve railway scenes of the past. Please do your research before showing up to critique others' work; I'm getting tired of you trying to poke holes in everything I bring to DYK. Perhaps more details like tourist numbers? Reception of the heritage railway?
I didn't find anything on passenger numbers, but I did find a bit of information that it was received positively by local residents, and I've added this to the article. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 17:47, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wish the lead could be fluffed up more, but given this is a short article, the lead seems fine.
