Birthdate
[edit]This article gives Katy French's birthday as 31 October. As far as I know, her birthday party was held on 29 November, which is where the confusion is coming from. I don't think we should have this link on the article page at the moment, it doesn't seem appropriate at this time. Bláthnaid 11:39, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
I would also like to add that an article on the Irish Daily Mirror on November 1, 2007 stated that Katy celebrated her birthday the previous day. Also I've been informed that she stated in her interview on Tubridy Tonight that her birthday was infact on Halloween but would be celebrating it in late November due to her appearance on Celebs Go Wild. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.177.129.210 (talk) 02:17, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you, you have cleared up my confusion regarding the date. Bláthnaid 11:11, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Her birthplace is Switzerland not Ireland, she is Swiss not Irish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vince123456789 (talk • contribs) 15:14, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- No, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies). Also stop your disruptive edit warring, since you have just been blocked for it as an IP, and immediately resumed edit warring upon expiration. O Fenian (talk) 16:01, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
It should not be removed, she is NOT Irish she was not born in Ireland. Her ethnicity is not Irish so why put her as Irish? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vince123456789 (talk • contribs) 17:17, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
The Irish link is linking to Irish people she is not Irish — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vince123456789 (talk • contribs) 17:24, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- So how is she Swiss? O Fenian (talk) 17:42, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
She was born in Switzerland not Ireland, so why is the Irish click directing people to Irish people? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.185.104 (talk) 06:57, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
The Irish link has now been changed to re-direct to "Republic Of Ireland" not "Irish people", much better. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.185.104 (talk) 06:58, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
One is/was NOT SWISS just because BORN there of foreign parents, nor are you Irish just because you grew up there..She must have had some passport...Possibly British or Australian or BOTH because of her parents? Maybe naturalised SWISS???? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.30.231.71 (talk) 14:39, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Religion
[edit]What does, "she was a Protestant but also practiced Catholicism" mean? Millbanks (talk) 10:25, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. Perhaps she sometimes went to Mass. That information is sourced to the Hot Press article. A subscription is needed to read that article so I can't double-check it. Bláthnaid 11:15, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Google caches are easy to come by. I think it refers to her religious background plus her dabbling in other beliefs. --➨Candlewicke :) Sign/Talk 01:45, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

suffered brain damage
[edit]Seems a bit vague... Was there any indication of the kind? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_damage#Causes 203.38.100.150 (talk) 06:35, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- Not in the references currently provided at least. They have, of course, mentioned that traces of cocaine were found. This combined with the statements from the Garda suspecting drugs were involved gives me at least a reasonable assumption as to the kind. By all means if you can find a better reference we can integrate it into the article. Freikorp (talk) 11:50, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
