Katsu curry in the UK

The source states that in the UK all kinds of Japanese curry are called Katsu curry. They have provided a single source referencing 'naked katsu curry' this is clearly a tongue in cheek marking ploy by a single restaurant. If a single American restaurant served chips and called them naked fish and chips this wouldn't be evidence that fish and chips in the US didn't require any fish.
