As far as I know no Jahangiri Tajiks ever ruled Chitral. Before the Katoore the Rais Dynasty held sway over Chitral. Various sources state various origins for the Rais Dynasty but the most agreed upon theory is that they belonged to the ruling house of Gilgit descended from Shri Budutt. I am deleting the Jahangiri claim, unless you can provide a valid reference.
