Encyclopaedic
[edit]frankly, if nobody can even be bothered to dig out the most basic facts about Ms Rees (like, education, profession, career. you name it) , this article isn't encyclopaedic at all. It's only a little scandal note. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.176.237.2 (talk • contribs) 13:57, December 24, 2006
- hey if you can find all that info, then feel free to add it. either way, on her tombstone, it will read: "stripped of the title due to racy photos". --72.202.129.98 03:59, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Censorship
[edit]Why was the link to legal pictures removed? 70.112.29.65 02:45, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Because they were fair use. -- PageantUpdater • talk | contribs | esperanza 02:47, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
- Any and all links provided must meet the standards of WP:EL, WP:C and WP:V. Personal blogs, anonymous websites, forums, etc., are not acceptable links for an encyclopedia. If someone really wants to see the controversial pictures, they can Google it and find them easily enough. -- Satori Son 20:57, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
infobox?
[edit]Shouldn't there be an infobox? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.51.8.142 (talk • contribs) 08:34, December 22, 2006
- Done. -- Satori Son 15:09, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
bisexual
[edit]shouldn't she be classified as bi? 67.172.61.222 22:19, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- Any and all information here must be directly attributable to a reliable source. If you can find a newspaper, magazine, or other reliable source that has published the statement that she is bisexual, add it to the article and provide the citation. Thanks, Satori Son 22:25, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with "User:67.172.61.222". Evidence of Ms. Rees's bisexuality are the infamous photos. In one of them she is actually sucking the nipples of another female, and in another she is simulating cunnilingus. -- TrojanMan 14:00, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- But we are not in the business of evaluating photo "evidence" and making determinations as to sexual orientation. Maybe she is actually bisexual, maybe she lost a bet, maybe she was making fun of lesbians – we have no idea what her state of mind was. Per the stringent requirements of Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons, our role here is not to speculate. If it is published by a reliable, third-party source, we can add it and cite it. Otherwise, it violates Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, and possibly Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. -- Satori Son 15:46, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Concerning Ms. Rees and Miss Universe Organization/Donald Trump...
[edit]As far as I'm concerned, Donald Trump is a hypocrite and has shown that he holds double standards. I mean, at Ms. Conner's press conference, he said he was all for 2nd chances. Then, Ms. Rees comes along, asking for just that, a 2nd chance. I mean, what Conner did was WAY worse than what Ms. Rees did. 24.7.217.221 03:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- So? I don't care. What Trump & MUO did to Ms. Rees was wrong. 24.7.217.221 03:01, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

- In case you didn't get me the first time, I don't care. Donald Trump is everything that's WRONG with business. 24.7.217.221 02:48, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
