Tom Corbett has succeeded Ed Rendell as governor, and McGinty is not head of EPA. --DThomsen8 (talk) 23:12, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

George Frampton

[edit]

George Frampton in the Rendell administration is not the British George Frampton who died in 1928. Removed link. --DThomsen8 (talk) 20:08, 1 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Environmentalist!?

[edit]

There is a big problem with calling Katie McGinty an environmentalist. She was DEP Secretary between 2003 and 2008, and was responsible for approving permits for the initial frenzy of gas drilling in dozens of rural PA counties, including Susquehanna County, where there has been significant water impacts, verified by the PA DEP in many determination letters, and in three consent orders with Cabot Oil and Gas. See: [1] I know several of the impacted people, and they have been pleading with her for years to come and see the harmed. She said she would come two years ago, but has yet to come. Vera Scroggins, Ray Kemble, Craig Stevens asked her to come. These are directly impacted people. -- Bill Huston (talk) 20:26, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This reliable source [2] calls her a "former state and federal environmental policy official", so I think we should too. Champaign Supernova (talk) 16:53, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
