Just want to add this part of her history: why she left Sydney
[edit]In June 1917, her mother, Aggie, packed up the girls—Kathleen and her younger sister, Joan—and moved to the United States. The family reunited with her father, Arthur, a lawyer, and settled in Manhattan. Aggie pursued her passion for singing, and she and Arthur remained together for the rest of their lives. They were eventually laid to rest side by side at Mount Hope Cemetery in Westchester County, New York. Joan, who lived from 1911 to 1989, became a well-known actress.
