oops, no explanation was left here for the COI tag - meaning I could just cut it on those grounds, BUT, since it's not hard to glean the tagger's inferred target, I took some time to go through that account's additions in the history before cutting the tag. notes on that:
1) page wasn't tagged for promo but I still cut a lot of cruft that sounded unencyclopedic.
2) in my opinion, advocate is a laudatory catchphrase that requires more than just donating to a legislative group to be applicable in this context, so I removed that terminology entirely.
2) the career section was a bit anemic after moving the awards out, so I checked the sources for any cherrypicking through omission. didnt' see any major controversies or events left out, though, and not much more to add from articles except quotes, so section was left small.
